Welcome to Te Kura o te Tauawa Halswell School
Here at Te Kura o te Tauawa Halswell School we are dedicated to creating an environment where every student learns to thrive. Our vision recognises the integral relationship between academic achievement and wellbeing. We understand that happy, well-adjusted children, armed with the tools and dispositions to respond positively to challenges, will not only thrive emotionally but will also progress and achieve well academically. Our school values of Manaakitanga, Kotahitanga, Manawanuitanga, Kaitiakitanga and Whanaungatanga, are the foundation of our approach and shape every aspect of our learning environment. They guide us forward as we work toward the vision of a thriving school community where each student flourishes in their own unique way.
